Finally fulfilled the dream of having a short holiday in Nikoi Island after a long 3 months of waiting. The island is always fully occupied with guests from all around the world. For those first timer, like me, or those only heard and wish to go, there are lot of information about the island. However, there is very limited information on the details of reaching the island.
Here are my story of a smooth journey to and back from Nikoi Island.
From Singapore to Nikoi Island
The following are the summary steps of the journey.
1. Advance booking of room (hut) in Nikoi Island. Upon success booking the staff will contact you through email.

2. Book a ferry ticket from Singapore (Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal) to Bintan (Bandar BentanTelani)

3. Send the ferry details to the staff from Nikoi Island. They will arrange the rest for you.
4. On the day, just take the ferry to Bintan, there will be staff from Nikoi Island welcoming you once you alight from the ferry.
5. They will then help you to clear the custom, collect your bags and drive you to the next ferry point. The drive takes about an hour, a long and scenic journey.
6. At next ferry point, board the speed boat and in about 20 minutes you will be there.

Things To Do
There are only three things for adults to do there;
EAT,
SLEEP and
RELAX.
For the kids,
No TV,
No computer,
No iPad (unless you taking one there). There only beach, sea and the Kids Club. The staff will entertain the kids and Yogi will craft lot of toys for them. It is a rare chance for the kids to get out from all the electronics and back to the nature.
